How do I check my grades?
You can check your grades by going to skyward, this is the district's grade recording system. You will need your skyward I.D and password. If you do not know your I.D. and password you can get them from the counseling center. You can access skyward from the school website or from our class website at www.sciencegreerohms.weebly.com
How do I improve my grades?
Missing or incomplete work may redone and marked with a post-it, it will be accepted for two weeks after the due date.
I handed my assignment in, but it is showing a '0'. What do I do?
If you believe you handed your assignment in, your first step should be to check through your folders and make sure that you don't still have it.
Assignments can be printed from our class website. Go to www.sciencegreerohms.weebly.com or you can pick up a copy from the “take what you missed" boxes at the back of our classroom.
Can I re-take an assessment I didn't do well on?
Assessments may be retaken 1 time with proof that the student has studied the topic. All assignments must be completed in order to do a retake on an assessment. Retakes on Lab assessments can be discussed.

Online programs that we use are Skyward, Canvas, Nearpod, EdPuzzle
Skyward login: beginning of school email and password
Canvas Login: jsd.instructure.com - full school email, password is student ID (lunch number) with jsd at the end
Nearpod: Nearpod.com - needs a code generated by teacher, type in full first and last name and period
EdPuzzle: edpuzzle.com/join/_________________ requires a code generated in class by teacher
I don't have a computer. How do I complete an online assignment?
If you don't have a computer to complete an online assignment, you can still complete the assignment by:

How do I improve my grades?
- The first step to improving your grades is to make sure you have all assignments turned in. Log into skyward and check for missing assignments. They will show up as '0' in the score column and usually say NoHa, which stands for not handed in (binder section), or miss for missing - see comments in skyward. Late work policy will be followed.
- Go to enrichment for extra help. Enrichment is provide after school to help students better understand material and to get extra help.
- Study for you assessments, they are 85% of your grade
- Retake assessments. Assessments may be retaken 1 time with proof that the student has studied the topic. All assignments for the unit must be completed in order to do a retake on an assessment. Retakes on Lab assessments can be discussed. Complete at least one of the reviews in the category to provide proof of study and practice.
- Meet with teacher for extra help before school 7:20-7:50 or after school 2:50-3:20, or come to eagle hour.

- Talk to Mrs. Greer and make sure it isn’t incorrectly entered into skyward.
- If you have done all of the above steps and you still are not able to find your assignment, you can re-do the assignment and mark with a sticky note.

- Using school computers available in the media center before school, during lunch, and after school
- Ask a friend, neighbor, or family member if you can use their computer
- Go to the public library. They have computers with internet access available at no cost
